Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, account identifier and authentication information. Passwords are stored using secure one-way hashing. If you add a profile image, we store that image for display within your account.

Habit Trackd content

We store the information you create in the service, including habits, notes, schedules, durations, reminder choices, routines, goals, Personal or Business classifications, completion history, streak information and archived items.

Calendar information

If you choose to connect Apple Calendar or Google Calendar, Habit Trackd accesses the calendar information required to check availability, identify scheduling conflicts and create, update or remove habit events. Calendar access is optional. You can keep individual habits private and disconnect a calendar at any time.

Subscription information

Apple processes purchases and payment details. Habit Trackd receives subscription product, entitlement and transaction status information needed to unlock Pro features and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Support and diagnostics

If you contact support, we collect your message and the contact information you provide. Support reports from the iPhone app may include the app version, build number, iOS version, device model and current screen. Apple MetricKit may provide native crash diagnostics after a crash so we can investigate reliability problems. Crash reports are associated with the signed-in account when delivered to our support system.

Technical information

Our server may process standard operational information such as request times, IP addresses, response status and security logs. This information is used to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service.

How We Use Information

• Provide account access and synchronise your data across supported sessions.
• Show what is due, record check-ins and calculate routines, goals, history and progress.
• Schedule the reminders and optional email reminders you request.
• Connect, update and clean up optional Apple and Google Calendar events.
• Process imports, exports and account backups requested by you.
• Respond to support messages, diagnose faults and improve service reliability.
• Prevent abuse, secure accounts and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your habits, notes, routines or goals to build advertising profiles.

iPhone Permissions

Habit Trackd may request access to notifications, calendars, the microphone and selected photos. Notifications deliver reminders you enable. Calendar permission supports Apple Calendar features. Microphone access is used only when you choose to record a custom alarm sound. The system photo picker lets you choose a profile image. You can change device permissions in iPhone Settings.

Apple And Google Calendar

Apple Calendar access is handled on your device under the permission you grant. Google Calendar connection uses Google authorisation and tokens stored for your account. Habit Trackd requests only the access needed to provide calendar features. Disconnecting a calendar stops future synchronisation. Calendar events already created may require removal by the app or by you, depending on the connection state.

Service Providers

We use service providers only where needed to operate Habit Trackd:

• Hostinger for application hosting, database services and email infrastructure.
• Cloudflare R2 for object storage, including profile images where enabled.
• Apple for App Store distribution, subscriptions, device permissions, StoreKit and MetricKit diagnostics.
• Google when you choose to connect Google Calendar.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted network connections, restricted service access and secure password hashing. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Retention And Deletion

Account information and Habit Trackd content remain while your account is active unless you delete individual content sooner. When you permanently delete your account in Account Settings, live account data is scheduled for deletion. Restricted backups may retain copies for up to 30 days before normal rotation removes them, unless a longer period is required for security, dispute resolution or law.

Support correspondence and security records may be retained for a reasonable period when needed to resolve an issue, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations.

Your Choices And Rights

You can update your profile, control per-habit calendar privacy, disconnect calendars, revoke iPhone permissions, export supported data and permanently delete your account from Account Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information.

Children

Habit Trackd is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information without appropriate permission.

International Processing

Habit Trackd and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international processing.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy when the product, providers or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how information is handled.
